Dream Spa Medical Facials and Chemical Peels - Canton, Brookline, Boston, MA
Most of our patients see amazing results after one treatment but our skincare specialists may recommend multiple treatments over a short
period of time for optimal results.
Dream Spa Medical Signature Facials:
The HydraGlow Facial
The HydraGlow facial combines two of our most effective treatments, Laser Genesis and the HydraFacial, to leave the skin rejuvenated,
hydrated, and glowing. Laser Genesis is a gentle laser treatment that stimulates collagen, reduces redness, and improves skin
texture. After the Laser Genesis treatment, the HydraFacial's hydrating and anti-aging serums leave the skin glowing and soft.
The HydraGlow is a perfect treatment for all skin types, especially for clients with sensitive skin or rosacea.
The DermaGlow Facial
The DermaGlow facial combines laser therapy with the revolutionary HydraFacial to increase the tone, texture, and clarity of the
skin and stimulate collagen. The Medlight laser rejuvenates the skin using patented PhotoAcoustic Technology.
Clients may experience minor sensation as a result of the laser—most clients describe the feeling as a mild tingling. After the
laser treatment, we use the HydraFacial machine to infuse powerful antioxidants into the skin for added rejuvenation. An added
benefit is that vellous hair, commonly known as peach fuzz, is removed during this treatment. Results can be seen after just
one treatment but optimal results are achieved after a series of regular treatments.
The Clear & Brilliant Lift
The Clear and Brilliant Lift starts off with the Clear & Brilliant laser treatment which uses progressive anti-aging laser technology
to diminish fine lines and wrinkles as well as improve your skin's tone, texture, and clarity. It is then finished with the
celebrity favorite Oxygen Facial which uses an oxygen compressor to encourage hydrating and anti-aging serums to penetrate
deep into the skin for a lifted look and a luminous, hydrating glow.
Starting off with the gentle laser Genesis treatment, this portion of the O2 Glow helps diffuse any redness in the skin, shrinks
pores, promotes collagen & elastin production and gently improves the tone and texture of the skin. The soothing Oxygen Facial
treatment follows to bring a cooling and refreshing feel to the skin all while lifting and plumping your skin. This effective
red-carpet facial will have you ready and glowing for any event and the results will last long after.
A laser treatment aimed to target the brown pigment on the surface of the skin starts this signature facial. As the laser moves
through the face, it tightens the skin, improves skin tone and cleans up the impurities. The oxygen facial is then used to
finish the treatment by penetrating patented hydrating and anti-aging serums deep into the skin. This takes down the heat from
the laser leaving your face with a deep lifted glow.
The European Facial is perfect for clients who have oily skin, clogged pores, or occasional breakouts. Clogged pores are extracted
and we use a high frequency machine to prevent future breakouts. This facial ends with a hydrating masque and clients leave
with healthier, refreshed skin.
Perfect for skin that feels a little parched, the Ultimate Hydration Facial combines two of our most effective exfoliating and
hydrating masque combinations with a third vitamin B5 enhanced treatment that is massaged into the skin for added relief from
dehydrated and distressed skin.
According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, sun exposure, acne or just getting older can leave your skin tone uneven, wrinkled,
spotted or scarred. If you want your skin to look smoother and younger, consider a chemical peel, which uses a chemical solution to
smooth the texture of your skin by removing the damaged outer layers.
Are all chemical peels the same?
At Dream Spa Medical each chemical peel is specifically tailored to the patient's skin and their concern. Chemical peels can reduce wrinkles
and prevent visible signs of aging like brown spots, adult acne and even skin lesions. A series of treatments is usually recommended
for optimal results.
What type of skin problems can chemical peels help treat?
Chemical peels can improve:
Acne or acne scars
Age and liver spots
Irregular skin pigmentation
Rough skin and scaly patches
Fine lines and wrinkles
Dream Spa Medical offers the following Chemical peels:

Originally founded in Miami in 2006 and currently based in Beverly Hills, the Vitality Institute has created the next generation
of chemical peels that are virtually painless, require no preparation, and have very little downtime. While many clients see a dramatic
difference in acne, melasma or other pigment issues, or signs of aging in as little as one peel, we recommend a series of 3 peels spaced
3-4 weeks apart for optimal results—especially for more severe skin concerns.

Dream Spa Medical offers the following medical facials:
HydraFacial™ is a NEW breakthrough in aesthetic technology. It's completely non-invasive and is a great treatment that removes
dead skin cells and impurities while simultaneously bathing the new skin with cleansing, hydrating and moisturizing serums.
The treatment is soothing, refreshing, non-irritating and immediately effective.
Hydration is the foundation for healthy, radiant skin. Irritation of the skin has been proven to increase the signs of aging. The
HydraFacial™ is a hydrating & non-irritating treatment.
Am I a candidate for the HydraFacial™ treatment?
The HydraFacial™ treatment is designated for all skin types. Even the most sensitive skin easily tolerates the HydraFacial™ treatment.
How long does the treatment take? Is there any downtime or pain?
The HydraFacial™ treatment is a fast, efficient treatment that takes as little as 15 minutes. There is no discomfort during the
procedure – it is often described as feeling like a "cool paint brush moving slowly over the face". You may put on make-up
and return to your normal activities right after the treatment since there is no downtime.
What results may be expected? How many HydraFacial™ treatments are needed to see results? How long do the results last?
Many people report seeing visible skin refinement and an even, radiant skin tone right after their first treatment. The smooth
results and hydration may last for five to seven days or even longer. A series of six treatments, one treatment per week, is
recommended for improving the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, and oily/acne-prone skin. After your first
series of treatments, we recommend for you to maintain your results with a HydraFacial™ treatment every two to four weeks.
Take a deep breath and let specially formulated serums create a supple, hydrated new you. Our Intraceuticals Oxygen Facial uses
advanced forms of Hyaluronic Acid-a water loving substance that is naturally produced by our bodies and keeps our skin hydrated
and youthful-to deliver amazing results. Instead of letting the hydrating serums penetrate the skin on their own, we use an
oxygen compressor to encourage the serums to penetrate deep into the skin for a luminous, hydrating glow. After 1 treatment,
you will see hydrated and youthful skin. After a series of treatments, you will be amazing.
According to the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery; aging, sun exposure, heredity and lifestyle factors including
nutrition, alcohol consumption and smoking all may contribute to facial wrinkling.
Pigmentary changes of the skin, such as blotchiness or brown spots, may also occur with age or as a result of birth control pills,
pregnancy or genetic factors. Prior acne may have made the surface of your skin uneven. These problems, as well as certain
other skin conditions, may be improved by skin resurfacing.
Microdermabrasion is a very popular skin resurfacing treatment. Dream Spa Medical offers two types of microdermabrasion. One treatment
utilizes a fine spray of microcrystals, which are projected onto the skin. Layers of dead cells are buffed and vacuumed leaving
brighter, smoother and healthier skin behind.
We also have the Diamond Delphia Diamond Crystal-Free Microdermabrasion machine. The Diamond Delphia gives us the option of delivering
microdermabrasion without the use of harsh crystals. We are able to achieve the best outcome without "scratching" sensitive
or thin skin areas with crystals.
To see which microdermabrasion treatment is best for you, call for a complimentary consultation with one of our medical aestheticians.
Acne. Just that one word brings back bad memories for adults who spent their high school years dealing with breakouts. It is a word that upsets anyone who is currently struggling with acne now. I know. I fought the good fight in my teens and my 20s. I felt like a little kid in the workplace because what adult has acne, anyway? Turns out….lots of adults. I tried everything but it wasn’t until I started seeing an aesthetician that I began to see my acne clear up.
I was amazed that facials could be results-oriented and not the fluffy steam facials from my grandmother’s time. Dream Spa Medical offers a variety of treatments designed to target acne breakouts. We treat teens and adults and use a variety of methods such as chemical peels for a professional exfoliation, clay masque facials to detoxify the skin and make extractions easier, high frequency treatments to kill bacteria, and many others.
Our aestheticians focus on improving acneic skin during treatments and we also have amazing products to use at home that are more effective and healing than most products you can get outside of a med-spa setting.
There is never a bad time of year to start treating your acne. If you are anxious about how your skin will look for upcoming weddings, graduations, or family get-togethers, make an appointment with Dream Spa Medical to start seeing your skin in a clear light.

For most people, sunscreen is a given in the summer, and many use it year round. However, many people neglect moisturizer when temperatures are high, and that's a mistake.
A lot of people don't think they need to use as much moisturizer in the summer. They might feel like their skin is greasier, but they should keep up the same moisturizing regimen they use in the winter, especially if they spend time in an air-conditioned environment..
Artificially dehumidified air dries the skin, which makes wrinkles and fine lines look more pronounced. It is recommended that people apply a non-comedogenic moisturizer (one that won't clog pores) to their face two or three times per day, all year round.
To keep skin looking its best, people should also use a sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) that contains titanium dioxide or zinc oxide. In addition it's important for your skin to avoid smoking cigarettes and regularly using products containing vitamin A derivatives, such as retinol or Tretinoin. By increasing the rate of cellular turnover, these products exfoliate the skin, soften fine lines and improve skin texture and tone. With long-term use, they also stimulate the skin to synthesize new collagen fibers.
It's perfectly OK to use these products in the summer, however, they actually dry out the skin — and they make the skin more sensitive to the sun.
If you are going on a sunny vacation or to the beach, skip it for a few days before and during the vacation, then start again when you return.
Likewise, such people should hold off on dermatologic procedures such as chemical peels and laser treatments until fall or winter. Not only do these treatments leave the skin more susceptible to sun damage, but the chance of discoloration following the procedure is higher with sun exposure.
People can still get injectable treatments such as Botox or dermal fillers. These injections are deep, so they're not disturbing the top layer where sun damage occurs.
